With the development of technology,it is affordable for parents to buy a game machine at home for kids so that they can play games at home without gong to the indoor playground.. However, there also exists some unavoidable disadvantages. Indoor playgrounds nowadays not only function as play squares any longer, but also places in which children can learn a lot of skills like how to get on well with others, how to deal with emergencies, ect. What's more important is that indoor playground is now treated as an indispensable part if kids' childhood that one can simply say that a childhood without experience in the indoor playground is not a perfect childhood. Therefore,I hold the view that there should fewer play machines at home.
Firstly, indoor playground is the best place to get exercise in every part of their body. Children need exercise not only mentally, but also physically. They can't get enough exercise by just playing with the game machines. They need to get more by using professional equipment, which is safer and more funnier. Childhood is the most important period of time during which exercise decides the shape of their body. Therefore, I suggest parents don't save money or time by forbidding kids from going to indoor play center.
Secondly,playing at home all day long will lead to the lack of friends an their disability in socializing. Though you can invite some kids to your home to play with your children, these kids can only provide your children with company and fun instead of do a favor to improve their ability of socialization. It is only in the indoor playground that your kids can be better at making friends with strangers and acquire the ability of socializing.
Last but not least, it is not a good thing to have your kids fall in love with a machine and form into the habit of relying on a machine instead of joining in the real life. Game machines have more disadvantages in children's life than their disadvantages. For example, once your kids become abdicated in playing with game machines, their study will be largely influenced and it's hard for them to get rid of it. However, if they were abdicated in indoor playground, things will be different.
In conclusion, it is wise not to treat machines as substitutes for anything in our life, especially necessary not to have kids obtain such ideas. Indoor playground, though calling for parents' patience and time, is no doubt the most suitable play center for kids. In a word, the role that an indoor playground plays in childhood can never be replaced by any games machines.
